Privacy Policy

Last updated: 24 April 2026

This policy explains what information Childsey Ltd ("Childsey", "we", "us") collects when you use the Childsey Growth Score™ tool at growth.childsey.com, why we collect it, and what your rights are. We've kept it plain. If anything is unclear, email hello@childsey.com.

What we collect

When you complete the Growth Score™ assessment, we collect:

  • Your name, work email, and company name
  • Optionally, your website and phone number
  • Your answers to the 20 assessment questions
  • Your calculated scores and band
  • Standard web context: referrer URL and any UTM parameters present in the link you arrived through

When you send a message through the contact form, we collect your name, email, optional company, and the contents of your message.

Why we collect it

We use this information to:

  • Generate and email you your personalised Growth Score™ report
  • Notify the Childsey team internally so we can follow up if you want to discuss your results
  • Reply to messages you send us through the contact form
  • Understand which sources are sending us traffic so we can improve the tool

The lawful basis for processing is your consent (which you give by submitting the form) and our legitimate interest in operating and improving our services.

Who sees it

Your information is stored in our backend (managed cloud database) and is accessible only to the Childsey team. We use the following processors to operate the service:

  • Cloudflare and Lovable Cloud — hosting and database
  • Resend — sending transactional emails (your report and internal notifications)

We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or pass it to any third party for marketing purposes.

Cookies & tracking

The Growth Score™ tool uses browser session storage to hold your in-progress answers so you can refresh the page without losing them. This is not a cookie and is cleared when you close the tab.

We do not use advertising cookies, third-party tracking pixels, or behavioural advertising on this site.

How long we keep it

We retain submission data for as long as it is useful to us as a prospective or current client record — typically up to 24 months from your last interaction. You can request deletion at any time (see below).

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, email hello@childsey.com and we'll action it within 30 days.

Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link, which removes you from further communications immediately.

You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) if you believe we've handled your data unlawfully.
